Qualified Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a qualified and trade-tested Electrician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and structured fault-finding on electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments.

The candidate must be safety-focused, technically competent, and able to work independently while maintaining high workmanship and compliance standards.

This role is suited to electricians who enjoy problem solving, technical fault-finding, and working on complex electrical systems.

Estate or Large Site Electrical Maintenance

Working knowledge of:

Electrical safety procedures
Lockout / Tagout principles
Electrical testing procedures
Certificate of Compliance (COC) requirements
Earthing and protection fundamentals

Responsible For

Electrical installation of LV reticulation systems
Installation and wiring of Distribution Boards
Cable installation, termination, and testing
Installation of earthing and bonding systems
Electrical maintenance and breakdown response
Testing and commissioning of electrical systems
Completion of test reports and compliance documentation
Compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Installation of single-phase and three-phase electrical utility meters in distribution boards and mini substations.

Additional Requirements

Wireman’s License (Installation Electrician or higher)
Solar PV / Alternative Energy experience
Working at Heights Certification
Fall Arrest Certification
First Aid Certification

Section 26D (Recognition of Prior Learning – RPL Route)
Valid Driver’s License (Minimum Code B)
Proven practical electrical installation experience
